Rock Fishing

Rock Fishing technique is particularly suitable for the cliffs of Sal Island because they are high and deep. In these spots we practice surface fishing with the Drifting Inshore technique (balloon fishing) or bottom fishing. The species that can be caught are: Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, Dolphinfish. It may also happen to catch sharks such as Lemon Sharks (Negaprion Brevirostris), Nurse Sharks (Ginglymostoma Cirratum), Tiger Sharks (Galeocerdo Cuvier) and Black Tip Sharks (Carcharhinus Limbatus).
